Frequently Asked Questions
What skincare products do you use during facials?
We proudly use professional-grade products from Skinscript, known for their natural ingredients and proven results—suitable for all skin types and concerns.
Does waxing hurt?
Some sensitivity is normal, especially for first-timers, but we use Black Coral Wax from Hawaii—a premium wax known for its gentle, effective results with less irritation. We use BushBalm products to soothe and nourish the skin post-waxing.
How should I prepare for a waxing appointment?
Let your hair grow at least ¼ inch (about the length of a grain of rice), exfoliate gently the day before, and avoid sun exposure or retinoids prior to your service.
Can I get a facial if I have sensitive skin or acne?
Absolutely! Sheila customizes every facial to your skin’s needs—including our Clear Radiance Facial, ideal for clarifying, calming, and restoring balance to breakout-prone or sensitive skin.
What is permanent makeup, and how long does it last?
Permanent makeup enhances features like brows, eyes, and lips using pigment implanted into the skin. Results typically last 1–3 years, with touch-ups recommended.
What are your late arrival and cancellation policies?
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment will incur a 50% charge, and cancellations made within 4 hours or no-shows will be charged 100%. Arriving 10 minutes late may shorten your appointment or result in cancellation, while arriving 15 minutes late will result in cancellation and a full charge.
